Covid19 Update – January 15, 2020
We are again in the unfortunate position of having to extend the closure of our Guild and Pottery Shop and postpone all classes (including private) until after February 11th 2021 at the earliest. We are following our Public Health and Provincial Government recommendations and requirements, for a Provincial lock down / Stay At Home order, to be in effect until February 11th. We will update our website as new information / dates are made available and ask you to keep checking in on the website.
However our online store is up and new items are being added every day. If you wish to take the January blues away and look for something for you or a special someone, we can help you out with one of a kind pieces by our members. Please shop local and support local artisans and your Guild! We can arrange for curbside pickup or shipping.
2021 Class Registration Live Now!
Our January-March session of classes are live now. There are some new time slots and a new regular class. They are currently slated to begin the week of January 25, 2021, however, in consultation with the Health Unit and depending on Covid numbers after the Holidays, this may be postponed. 2020 KPG Annual Holiday Show & Sale.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our sale this year. Despite covid, the different format seemed popular and allowed for a relaxed and comfortable shopping atmosphere. We are closed now for the holidays and the lockdown, but our online store is still open and curbside pickup is an option for store products and tools and clay.
Guild Fundraiser – Own your own Trillium!
Expanding on the Kawartha Potters Guild successful tribute to the Vimy Ridge Trillium project, the Guild is delighted to announce a Fundraising Campaign featuring our Ontario Trillium. These beautifully crafted functional dishes, by local potters, are available for sale at $29.00 each. These Trilliums are functional and food safe dinner ware, making wonderful gifts: for housewarmings, visitors, showers or just a keepsake for yourself.
The fundraising efforts will assist the Guild to continue offering classes to the public, allow our members to grow as artists, and the Pottery Shop to offer locally made gifts. Shop Local, Support Local during this difficult time in our history.
To order, please contact our Administrator and make sure to include TRILLIUM in the subject line. Please indicate how many you desire. You will be contacted via email when items are ready for pick up and you will have the opportunity to choose the perfect one (s) for you. Pay via Visa/MC or cash/cheque or etransfer once you choose your own individual Trilliums.
