Teens Throwing Camp – ages 12-17
August 4 @ 9:00 am - August 7 @ 1:30 pm$245.00
Covid19 Update – April 17, 2020
Assuming that physical distancing restrictions are lifted by this week, KPG is offering an opportunity to register your child/children for this week of camp, by registering with a deposit of $25.00. Should this interest you, please continue no further with this registration, and contact our Administrator, Donna directly. She will arrange for an e-transfer or take your credit info over the phone. You will then receive our standard registration form by email to fill and return, preferably, by email. When we have a better idea whether we will be allowed to proceed, you will then be asked to pay the remaining $220.00 in full. Please note that the $25.00 deposit is non-refundable. If you are registering more than one child or for more than one week, we ask at this time, that you pay the full $25.00 for each child per week. The normal discount will apply should the camp weeks run. We hope this helps your summer planning, and look forward to being able to offer classes again. Please stay safe.
This camp is a 4 day-long, day camp for teens ages 12-17. This week runs from 9 a.m. – 1:30 p.m, Tues. – Fri., and is $245.00 per child. Please note there will be no extended break or park time for this camp as it is an intensive throwing camp. Interested teens must have previously attended at least one of our week long camps, one of our regular 8 week sessions for kids, or equivalent. The teens throwing week runs during the short week of August 4-7, 2019.
Please note that after you complete this registration and pay via Paypal, you will be redirected to a registration form to provide our office with information about the camper(s) you have registered. You must complete this form to finish your registration process.
*Be advised that the KPG will screen your child’s application and that they may or may not be accepted to the camp based on past pottery experience. This is to ensure that all participants have the experience necessary to thrive in the throwing intensive week. You will be contacted to confirm your child’s acceptance to the camp.
No refund will be given if notice of withdrawal is not received at least 10 days in advance of the start date. All refunds are subject to an administration fee of 20%. Any refund can be transferred to another class or purchase of items in the Gallery (via a gift certificate) at full value. If, for any reason, the KPG is forced to cancel the class, efforts will be made to transfer the student to an alternate corresponding level class, or a refund will be issued in full.
The City of Peterborough offers a subsidy for low-income families for summer camp programs such as this one, for dependent children under the age of 19 years. The maximum subsidy per child is $200 per year. Eligible families must live in the city and meet certain cut-off levels of income.
