To Teach, To Learn, To Share

About Kawartha Potters’ Guild

The Kawartha Potters’ Guild is a not-for-profit, founded in 1993 to promote the art and craft of ceramics in the community and to provide a forum for local potters to share their experiences and knowledge of clay.

Kawartha Potters Guild's new home
This is 993 Talwood Drive. Our entrance is at the back of the building, and there is ample parking.

This knowledge is passed on through guest speaker presentations, member’s show and tell, informative newsletter, workshops, exhibitions, a library that features both books and videos and an annual juried sale.

The mission of the guild is to assist members, and the general public, achieve and maintain standards of excellence in the creation of pottery through association, education and raising professional standards.

In the summer of 2012, moved into our 993 Talwood Drive location by joining together with Park Street Pottery (and George Stewart) to create our new Gallery and Studio space.
