DESCRIPTION:CLAY PLAY ON THE WHEEL: One Day Wheel Throwing Experience Teacher – Kristina \nLearn to throw down some pottery at our one day wheel class! You’ll dive right into the basics of the pottery wheel and come away with your new favourite bowl\, cup\, or vase. This will be a very hands on class so come prepared for a bit of mud and allot of fun! All materials and tools will be provided. We will trim your pieces\, gaze\, and fire them to be picked up 3-4 weeks after your class. This class in intended for adults\, teens aged 14+ are welcome if accompanied. \n\n6-7 students max- for hands on personalized instruction\nlearn to center\, open\, pull walls to make simple shapes like bowls/cups\nkeep at least one finished piece (choose glaze colour) • fee to keep more pieces as Kristina will have to trim and glaze\, $10 per piece\nSATURDAY\, NOVEMBER 8TH | 3-5:30 PM $85/person + HST\n\nLove the experience? Teens ages 15+ are welcome! \nInstructor: \nPriya has worked in both pottery and education since the 1980s. Her home studio\, “Windring”\, specializes in mid-range porcelain functional ware. The flow of throwing\, exploring form to fit diverse functions and folks\, and creating surface designs are her passions. She has given workshops and classes in pottery through the Guild since 2013\, to children\, youth\, and adults.
