SUMMARY:Teen Wheel Summer Program
DESCRIPTION:This program is a 4 day-long\, wheel throwing camp for teens only\, ages 13-17.  This week runs from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m\, Tuesday-Friday.  \nDuring this week campers will be shown how to work on the wheel and in handbuilding and will be given ample chance to practice and make a variety of pieces. \nPerfect for creative minds and young artists! Plenty of opportunity to let imaginations run wild. We are always amazed at the art coming from summer camp! \nInfo for Parents/Guardians: \n\nThe camp area is clearly delineated for use by campers and camp staff only\, including our private courtyard area\nCampers should bring their own water bottle/lunch/snacks (no refrigeration available)\nRatio of staff to campers is 1 to 4\, with a maximum of 8 campers and a minimum of 2 staff.\n\nSome projects will need to be picked up aprox. 2 weeks after their camp week is finished as we need to fire them in our kilns to finish. Alternate arrangements can be made with our administrator if needed \n-Once you have registered and paid\, we will email the forms needed for camper information. These must be completed and returned before you child’s space is confirmed. \nPayment Details: (please include with description) \nAs a not-for-profit PayPal fees can cut into slim operating budget- payment by e-transfers or cash at the guild are greatly appreciated! \nplease send e-transfers to administrator@kawarthapottersguild.com \nCost: $320/week (no HST). \nSubsidies are available through the City of Peterborough for residents in need\, our camp does qualify for this program. SUMMARY:Clay & Crafts Summer Camp for Kids
DESCRIPTION:Our KPG Clay & Crafts summer camp is a week-long day camp for youngsters aged 7-12\, running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday. Filled with hand-building clay projects\, games\, and arts & craft activities. \nPerfect for growing creative minds\, mud lovers\, and budding artists! Plenty of opportunity to let imaginations run wild.
