Don’t miss this opportunity to express your artistic side! \nDon’t miss out—register today to secure your spot to play with clay! \nThis one off class runs Sunday morning October 5\, 2025\, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Cost is $73.45 (tax included) per person.  This includes all materials\, finishing and firing. \nCovid Policy: \nFace masks are no longer a requirement in the Guild.  KPG space is mask friendly and we do encourage you to wear a mask when working near others. \nWe request that if you feel sick to any degree\, that you do not come to class\, and to notify the Guild.   \nRefund Policy: \nNo refund will be given if notice of withdrawal is not received at least 10 days in advance of the start date. SUMMARY:Teapot Workshop with Tim Laurin
DESCRIPTION:This 2 day workshop will be held on Thursday October 23rd & Friday October 24th from 1pm – 4pm. \nThe hand-thrown teapot is often considered the ultimate challenge for potters as it requires the integration of four separate element; body\, spout\, lid and handle.  Tim will offer his perspective on how to integrate these elements\, forming a unified vessel that encompasses visual harmony with functional utility. There will be demonstrations on throwing the various components as well as trimming and altering the components prior to assembling. \nParticipants need to be able to center and throw min of 2 pounds of clay (ideally 3 pounds). \nYou are responsible for glazing on your own time. \nPrice: $150 members\, $175 non member (plus tax) (members can etransfer or pay in person for a discount) \nEtransfers can be sent to: administrator@kawarthapottersguild.com and confirm in message that you’re registering for this workshop. \nWorkshop Teapot Tim Laurin
