Don’t miss this opportunity to express your artistic side! \nDon’t miss out—register today to secure your spot to play with clay! \nThis one off class runs Sunday morning January 11th 2026\, 10:30 a.m. – 1p.m. Cost is $73.45 (tax included) per person.  This includes all materials\, finishing and firing. \nInstructor: Brenda Barron \nBrenda has been a part-time potter since 1997. Her ceramic learning has come from many instructors and participation in numerous workshops. \nBrenda loves to share her knowledge with other clay lovers and has facilitated many workshops in her home studio. \nSeeking tranquillity in a fast-paced world\, Brenda found her calling by combining her love of cooking with making functional ceramics for everyday use in the kitchen. \nRefund Policy: \nNo refund will be given if notice of withdrawal is not received at least 10 days in advance of the start date. All refunds are subject to an administration fee of 20%. Any refund can be transferred to another class or purchase of items in the Pottery Shop (via a gift certificate) at full value.

DESCRIPTION:Learn to throw down some pottery at our one day wheel class! You’ll dive right into the basics of the pottery wheel and come away with your new favourite bowl\, cup\, or vase. This will be a very hands on class so come prepared for a bit of mud and allot of fun! All materials and tools will be provided. We will trim your pieces\, gaze\, and fire them to be picked up 3-4 weeks after your class. This class in intended for adults\, teens aged 14+ are welcome if accompanied. \n• 7 students max- for hands on personalized instruction \n• learn to center\, open\, pull walls to make simple shapes like bowls/cups \n• keep at least one finished piece (you choose glaze colour) \n• Small fee to keep more pieces as Kristina will have to trim and glaze\, $8 per piece \nLove the experience? Can’t wait to touch clay again? Clay Play participants get a $25 discount on a 6 week session of classes to continue your pottery journey! \nRefund Policy: \nNo refund will be given if notice of withdrawal is not received at least 10 days in advance of the start date.
