SUMMARY:Garden Gnomes Handbuilding Workshop- *New Session Added! May 3rd 2:30pm*
DESCRIPTION:In this workshop\, you’ll learn hand building techniques to create your project from a ball of clay. After forming the pots\, you’ll have the opportunity to decorate them using a selection of vibrant underglaze colours. Once finished\, your creations will be coated in a clear or colored glaze (of your choice) for a polished & food safe finish\, and they will be ready for pick up three weeks after the workshop concludes. \nDon’t miss out—register today to secure your spot to play with clay! \nThis class runs Sunday morning 10:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Cost is $73.45 (tax included) per person.  This includes all materials\, finishing and firing. \n*Second Session Added due to Popular Demand! May 3rd 2:30pm-5:00pm*\nRefund Policy: \nNo refund will be given if notice of withdrawal is not received at least 10 days in advance of the start date. All refunds are subject to an administration fee of 20%. Any refund can be transferred to another class or purchase of items in the Pottery Shop (via a gift certificate) at full value.  In case of illness or inclement weather please contact us as soon as possible\, we will do our best to offer a make up class if possible. \nInstructor: Brenda Barron \nBrenda has been a part time potter since 1997. DESCRIPTION:Not everyone’s story looks the same\, and this workshop celebrates them all. Whether you’re honouring a mother\, a grandmother\, a chosen family member\, a mentor\, or simply treating yourself\, come spend an afternoon doing something creative and meaningful. \nArtist Olivia will guide you through building and painting a hand-crafted dish featuring a mama and baby creature of your choice. No experience necessary\, just a willingness to play with clay and enjoy the process. \nAll pieces are handbuilt and painted by you. Olivia handles the glazing and firing\, and your finished piece will be ready for pickup shortly after. \nPayment Details: \nAs a not-for-profit PayPal fees can cut into slim operating budget- payment by e-transfers or cash at the guild are greatly appreciated! \nTickets: $130 tax included for 2!
