DESCRIPTION:This 2 day workshop will be held on Thursday October 23rd & Friday October 24th from 1pm – 4pm. \nThe hand-thrown teapot is often considered the ultimate challenge for potters as it requires the integration of four separate element; body\, spout\, lid and handle.  Tim will offer his perspective on how to integrate these elements\, forming a unified vessel that encompasses visual harmony with functional utility. You’ll have the opportunity to decorate your creation with various underglaze colours\, allowing for personalized touches\, and it will be finished with a clear glaze for a polished look. You’ll dive right into the basics of the pottery wheel and come away with your new favourite bowl\, cup\, or vase. This will be a very hands on class so come prepared for a bit of mud and allot of fun! All materials and tools will be provided. We will trim your pieces\, gaze\, and fire them to be picked up 3-4 weeks after your class. This class in intended for adults\, teens aged 14+ are welcome if accompanied. \n\n6-7 students max- for hands on personalized instruction\nlearn to center\, open\, pull walls to make simple shapes like bowls/cups\nkeep at least one finished piece (choose glaze colour) • fee to keep more pieces as Kristina will have to trim and glaze\, $10 per piece\nSATURDAY\, NOVEMBER 8TH | 3-5:30 PM $85/person + HST\n\nLove the experience?
