4 Week Beginner Wheel Class- Adult & Teens

Discover the joy of clay in our 4-week Beginner Pottery Class! For teens and adults stressed for time, this two-hour hands-on class focuses on wheel throwing and finishing pieces. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to build on basic skills, this hands-on course will guide you through throwing techniques in a relaxed, supportive studio environment. You’ll create functional and decorative pieces, learn glazing and finishing tips, and gain confidence in your creativity. All materials are included—just bring your curiosity and a willingness to get a little dirty! A great opportunity for holiday gift making! Enrollment is limited to 5 for an engaging, supportive environment. (All materials and firing included.) Teens ages 15+ are welcome!
Instructor:
Priya has worked in both pottery and education since the 1980s. Her home studio, “Windring”, specializes in mid-range porcelain functional ware. The flow of throwing, exploring form to fit diverse functions and folks, and creating surface designs are her passions. She has given workshops and classes in pottery through the Guild since 2013, to children, youth, and adults. Priya is a wonderful supportive teacher and can offer instruction bilingually.
