Ready to start leveling up your wheel throwing? This class is perfect for those transitioning from beginner level, who are ready to expand their techniques! Explore more refined forms, planning surface decoration, finishing techniques, and more.
This 6-week intermediate wheel throwing class is designed for potters with some experience who want to begin to push their practice and lay the foundations to learn more advanced techniques. Suitable for those who have taken two or more rounds of beginner lesson are looking for the next step. This class will be the perfect stepping stone to our Intermediate/Advanced and Advanced throwing classes!

Priya has worked in both pottery and education since the 1980s. Her home studio, “Windring”, specializes in mid-range porcelain functional ware. The flow of throwing, exploring form to fit diverse functions and folks, and creating surface designs are her passions. She has given workshops and classes in pottery through the Guild since 2013, to children, youth, and adults.
Priya continues to enjoy sharing her love of clay and learning.
