
Teapot Workshop with Tim Laurin

This 2 day workshop will be held on Thursday October 23rd & Friday October 24th from 1pm – 4pm.
The hand-thrown teapot is often considered the ultimate challenge for potters as it requires the integration of four separate element; body, spout, lid and handle. Tim will offer his perspective on how to integrate these elements, forming a unified vessel that encompasses visual harmony with functional utility. There will be demonstrations on throwing the various components as well as trimming and altering the components prior to assembling.
Participants need to be able to center and throw min of 2 pounds of clay (ideally 3 pounds).
