To Teach, To Learn, To Share

Artist’s Statement

I had my first pottery lesson at Western University and found that I centered myself while centering clay. Throwing is still my favourite part of the process. It is wonderfully therapeutic!  I renewed my love of mud after taking classes with Richard Hayman in 1998 and purchased a wheel and then a kiln. Now that I’m retired from teaching dance and phys-ed I have the time and energy to muck about in my home studio, throw and even teach a few lessons.
