Darlene Malcolm-Moran is a graduate of Sheridan College School of Design and over the years has pursued many aspects of ceramics. Darlene is sharing her vast knowledge and skills through her teaching the Intermediate/Advanced classes at the Kawartha Potters Guild.
The hand built/wheel thrown vase pictured below is 51.5cm high. This one-of-a-kind piece incorporates an inlay of four colours of marbled patchwork clay and showcases Darlene’s skill in combining multi-coloured clay to create a truly beautiful work of art.
Celebrate Ceramics is on April 8th, 7-9pm.
Tickets to this event are limited, so make sure you don’t miss out, pick up your ticket at the Kawartha Potters Guild located at 933 Talwood Dr. in Peterborough (open from Tuesday to Friday: 1-5pm). Alternatively, you can email Donna O’Brien, or phone the Guild (705) 742-4979 to purchase your ticket. Tickets are $75 and in addition to choosing a beautiful piece of pottery to take home, there will be live music, complimentary food and a glass of wine! You can bring a friend for $25.
