Our friends over at the Artisan’s Centre of Peterborough (based in Peterborough Square), are having their Artisanity Show and Sale this coming weekend, November 1 – 3 at the Knights of Columbus Hall (317 Hunter St. West, Peterborough).  The show opens Friday from 4-8 and is open both Saturday and Sunday from 10-4.  There are 28 different artisans in this show, and a number of them are from our guild.  There will also be wood turned pieces, weaving, gourd work and other textiles.  This is always a lovely show, not to be missed!

Creative Hands On Festival!

The Kawartha Potters Guild is pleased to be participating in this event sponsored by Artisan Centre Peterborough (ACP) and funded by the New Horizons for Seniors Program. There will be demonstrations, hands on activities and beginner handbuilding classes offered each day, Sept.13-15, 10-4. Take a look at the site and register for a course in pottery, gourd making, woodworking, embroidery, stain glass and much more!

Artisans’ Centre Grand Opening!

As some of you may know, the Artisans’ Centre, of whom the KPG is a founding member, is moving to Peterborough Square as of March 1st.  All classes for the Woodturners, Spinners & Weavers and Gourders will now be taking place in Unit # 3, downstairs.  They will be having a Grand Opening on Saturday, March 23, from 11:00 a.m. to 3 p.m and everyone is cordially invited!  We would like to extend our best wishes for their continued growth and success!
