Celebrate Ceramics is on April 8th, 7-9pm and we only have a few tickets left! Tickets are $75 and in addition to choosing a beautiful piece of pottery to take home, there will be live music, complimentary food and a glass of wine! You can bring a friend for $25. Just remember that the $25 ticket price does not entitle that ticket holder to take home a piece of pottery.
For today’s post we are showing off one of Deborah Craven’s appliqued vases. Deborah has been studying and teaching art since 1975 and is owner of Wheel Works Pottery. As a member of the KPG, she continues to experiment with new ideas and techniques. The vase pictured below highlights Deborah’s skill and artistry. The multi-coloured flowers are appliqued onto this beautifully shaped vessel.
