Jane is always coming up with creative and useful items for around the home. This time she has a great selection of orchid planters, like the one pictured below, along with a great selection of other pieces. Check out her whole catalogue in our online store.
Long time member and teacher, Priya Harding, has brought us in more of her wonderfully crafted and beautifully painted pieces. You can purchase these from our online store or in person Tues – Fri from 1-5 p.m. Contact us for an appointment!
We have some great new pieces in the store from long time member, Cathy Allen. Her cottage scenes, flowers and bird carvings always brighten the place up. Zip over to our online store (or make an appointment to stop by to see them in person).
The Provincial Government announced new Covid restrictions effective Jan 5th for 21 days; we are back to a modified Stage 2 which means KPG will be closed for all in-person activity.
The classes slated to start the week of January 10th have been postponed to the week of January 24th.
We can keep the Gallery Shop open for retail therapy, with a maximum of 3 people in the facility at a time (not including staff/volunteer), with 6’ distancing, full mask and sanitizing on entry.
Members can do drop off and pick ups, purchase clay, tools, etc., however, we ask them to call or email to confirm date and time to ensure we don’t exceed our numbers. We will have either Kristina, Donna or Noreen at the Guild Tues – Fri from 1-5 for customers to shop and members to do their drops/pick ups.

Kawartha Potters Guild Gallery Shop is available Tuesday – Friday, 1:00 – 5:00pm, limited to 3 visitors at a time. In anticipation of more bad news from Premier Ford this afternoon, we will have the Guild and Gallery Shop open today, Thursday, until 6pm if anyone needs clay, tools etc, last minute Easter shopping, or drop off/pick up of items for firing.
As of Thursday June 18th, 2020, the KPG Pottery Shop will reopen to the public! We still have a great selection of items for Father’s Day, birthdays, new additions to the family, thank you gifts or any other cause to celebrate. All our items are hand made by local artisans.
NEW STORE HOURS: Thursday to Saturday 1pm to 5:30pm.

The Guild Pottery Shop is open today 11 – 5 p.m. for your last minute gift shopping! We have many great gift items from mugs for your coffee & tea drinkers to wine goblets, platters, teapots, coffee filter holders, tablet and phone stands, tree ornaments, vases, jewelry, gift cards (made by our members) and much more. We still carry items from the other members of the Artisans’ Centre; the Kawartha Woodturners Guild, the Gourd Society and the Spinners and Weavers Guild. If you can’t decide, we have gift certificates that don’t expire and are good for any product or service we offer. Our knowledgeable volunteers can help you with your decisions.
