To Teach, To Learn, To Share
Cathy strives to make decorative functional pottery that enhances and beautifies our everyday lives. Simple carving techniques and patterns in her thrown pieces give way to the curves of our own life’s pathways. She hopes you will enjoy her pieces!
Our sale continues every day until December 23rd. Book your appointment here, or take your chances at the door.
We are so excited to be able to announce that our pottery is now available for purchase online, right from this website. We are very thankful to our volunteers, the City of Peterborough for a grant to help us get this up and running and to Brendan Quigley, local Shopify Freelancer who has been of great assistance helping us get online.
Purchases can be shipped or you can arrange for curb-side pick up. We are still working to upload more of our stock, so check back often! You can visit the store here.
The photo is from the installation of the trilliums our members and local community members made in honour of the 100th anniversary of Vimy Ridge. We would just like to take a moment to stop, remember, and thank those men and women who died, were injured or are still in active service for our country.
Our annual and well loved Holiday Sale is on for this year! It will be a bit different this year in order to keep everyone safe. It will run for 12 days at our Talwood location, from Friday December 11th, 2020 to Wednesday December 23rd, 2020.
Stay tuned on how you’ll be able to sign up for a personal shopping experience! More information to come!
Our fall class line up is detailed above and on our classes page. We are working on future workshops for both wheel and hand building. If you have a request for a specific workshop in mind, please don’t hesitate to contact our Administrator, Donna.
The Board is looking for new Board members. Board members do not need to be a potter, or a Guild member. If you are interested, or know someone who would be willing to be nominated, please contact our Board Chair, Ann Hobday.
Members, please consider attending, via Zoom, our Annual General Meeting, scheduled for 6:30 p.m., Monday, September 28, 2020. There are many decisions that need Guild member approval, including the above voting in of new Board members. More details are available on the Members side of the website.
